Zen Den & The Eco-Refuge
Our Zen Den engaged artists with a backstage adoption event hosted by a local animal shelter. Our Eco-Refuge, a destination for fans to learn about climate change and connect with nonprofits, included a photo-booth that simulated the effects of a ‘business-as-usual’ climate change scenario on festival grounds.
We consulted the production team on waste management and energy-use best practices
Food Waste Diversion
We arranged for 9,500 lbs of food to be donated to a local food bank – keeping it out of the trash giving it to people in need.
We coordinated the full offset of all water and carbon usage at the festival.
We reduced solid waste through a consultation with event producers, vendors, and the waste management team.
Environmental Day of Action
We incentived festival attendees to volunteer for an environmental day of action and a local nonprofit.
We reduced solid waste by 50% through strategic messaging around recycling efforts, fan engagement, and the implementation of hydration stations.
We rewarded festival attendees for reducing their environmental footprint with VIP ticket upgrades.
We developed the first ever virtual eco-village where visitors could learn about nonprofits and causes important to performing artists.
